Diane Worth BA (Oxon) Diploma Counselling LMGC & Roehampton Institute, London. BACP accredited and registered UKRC independent counsellor.
I have twenty years experience of working with couples and individuals with relationship problems; previously for the former London Marriage Guidance Council (now part of the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships) and in private practice. I have also worked for the last seven years as a licensed counsellor for Relate.
I have wide experience of working with clients from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds and of heterosexual and same-sex orientation. I have a particular interest in working with older couples and couples who do not share the same ethnic or cultural background.
Recent research by neuroscientists has taught us much more about the mind/body connection which I find helpful in my work and in which I have an on-going interest.
As a BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) accredited counsellor I am bound by their guidelines on confidentiality and respect for difference.
